Philosophy
Trees Are Good
The environmental, social and economic benefits of trees are well-documented. Urban and suburban trees growing near people are known collectively as the Urban Forest. As of 2018, 47% of land area in Knox County Tennessee was covered by tree canopy. Within the City of Knoxville, tree canopy covered 36% of land area.
Our urban forest requires attention and maintenance in order to minimize risks and maximize benefits for our community.
Careful, science-based tree service is important work. As we manage trees for the benefit of our individual clients, we are also helping to maintain and grow a healthier, more resilient urban forest for our community as a whole.
